Общество им. Валерии Вишневской по делам России было основано 10 января 2003 года Геннадием Палевичем Паль-Вишневским, правнуком Валерии Вишневской, как частная некоммерческая добровольная ассоциация, служащая России, её людям, её культуре, её искусству по принципу лояльности, толерантности и умеренности.

ОВВ — Общество им. Валерии Вишневской по делам России — независимый филиал РМОН (Международная Организация Русского Наследия в Москве).

ОВВ не является ни политической структурой ни филиалом какой-либо партии, однако не противоречит главной линии государственной политики и требованиям правительства.

ОВВ дистанцируется от экстримальной риторики и конфликтов любого рода и является сторонником умеренного демократического подхода.

ОВВ имеет свою собственную независимую умеренную платформу и мирную не политическую адженду. Оно не связано ни с какими-либо политическими форумами и выступает в роли вкладчика, медитатора, служителя, посредника и объективного историка.

Отделения общества находятся в городах Москва, Санкт Петербург, Берлин и Иерусалим.

Главные цели общества

1. Объединить позитивные силы внутри России и среди русских соотечественников за рубежом с целью продвижения российских и евразийских ценностей, культуры и искусства в их многообразном выражении.

2. Обеспечить добровольное сотрудничество российских ведомств и организаций, включая дипломатические корпусы, Российские культурные центры, как в бывших союзных республиках, так и за пределами России.

3. Заниматься поиском и контактами с понимающими и поддерживающими людьми, расширяя сферы своей деятельности.

The OBB - VVS - Valerie Vishnevskaya Society for Russian Affairs was founded on January 16, 2003 by Gennady Paulevich Pahl-Vishnevsky, a great grandson of Valerie Vishnevskaya,as a private non-profit volunteering enterprise, serving Russia, its people, its culture, its arts in loyalty, tolerance and moderation.

The OBB - VVS Valerie Vishnevskaya Society for Russian Affairs is an independent Affiliate of the (RMON) PMOH RUSNAS.ORG -PYCHAC - RHIO - Russian Heritage International Org.- Moscow

The OBB - VVS is neither a member nor an affilate of any political party, but orientates itself on main stream public and governmental policies and requirements.

The OBB - VVS distances itself from extremes of any kind and from fiery rethoric and advocates a moderate and tolerant democratic approach.

The OBB - VVS has its own independent moderate, peaceful, non-political agenda and is not bound by party forums and platforms etc. but sees its role as contributer,loyal servant, mediator, facilitator and objective historian.

The society is located in Moscow, Saint Petersburg - Berlin and Jerusalem

The main purpose of the society

1) - To join all positive forces within Russia and amongst the Russian Compatriots Community abroad to advance Russian and Eurasian Interests, Culture and Art in its various manifestations.

2) - to provides voluntary assistance to Russian Institutions and Organizations including the Diplomatic Corps and Russian Cultural Centers amongst the 15 member states/republics of the FSU, Former Soviet Union and internationally.

3) - to seek and connect with like-minded friends and supporters, expanding its scope of activities.

Russia Day - День России, Den Rossii is the national holiday of the Russian Federation, celebrated on June 12. It has been celebrated every year since 1992.

MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. Russia Day is a national holiday in the Russian Federation celebrated annually on June 12. In accordance with the Russian Labor Code, it is an official public holiday.

Declaration of State Sovereignty

On June 12, 1990, the 1st Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR, part of the Soviet Union) adopted the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR. The document declared the primacy of the Constitution and the laws of the Russian republic over the Soviet Union’s legislation, establishing equal rights for all citizens, political parties and non-governmental organizations, the principle of separation of powers into three branches, namely the legislative, executive and judicial and the necessity to substantially expand the rights of the regions. The document also stated that the Declaration is the basis to frame a new constitution. In all, 907 deputies voted to adopt the document, 13 voted against it, while 9 abstained. Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet Boris Yeltsin signed the Declaration.

Holiday established

On June 11, 1992, the Supreme Soviet of Russia published a decree designating June 12 as a public holiday. On September 25, 1992, the corresponding amendments were introduced into the Russian Labor Code.

Holiday’s history in Russia

On Russia Day, the country traditionally holds holiday concerts, mass open air celebrations and sports events.

On June 12, 1995, the holiday was celebrated for the first time. The first ceremony of awarding the State Prizes (introduced in 1992-1993) in science and technology, literature and the arts was held in the Kremlin on that day. In later years, the State Prize awarding ceremonies on June 12 became a tradition. The holiday also received the unofficial title of "Independence Day". This wording has never been used in the official documents, but can be seen in the media, appears on placards and banners.

In 1998, then Russian President Boris Yeltsin proposed calling this day "Day of Adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of RSFSR" - Russia Day - in his address to the nation broadcasted by the main TV channels. However, the holiday was officially renamed only on February 1, 2002, when the new Labor Code came into force with all the official public holidays set out.

Since 2001, Russia Day has been celebrated with fireworks in Moscow and in other cities around the country.
